U-Value & Thicknesses w/m2 = Watts per metre Kelvin

119mm = 0.22w/m2

144mm = 0.19w/m2

194mm = 0.14w/m2

219mm = 0.13w/m2

NB U-values when using a 60mm clear cavity and 100mm brickwork skin

Panel Sizes

1200mm x 2400mm

1200mm x 4800mm

OSB (Grade3) Oriented Strand Board

Standard is 11mm OSB and comes from sustainable timber sources PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) & FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).

Core

Expanded polystyrene core with Ozone Depletion Rating of zero and safe Global Warimng Potential.

Fire Performance

SIP panels will meet all the requirements of building regulations with regard to fire resistance when lined with 15mm plasterboard, a single layer will provide 30 minutes rating and a double layer will provide 60 minutes rating.

Durability

As long as the design follows best practice and the building is maintained and weather tight, a life of at least 60 years maybe expected.

Air Tightness

Due to single joints every 1200mm, SIP panels are uniquely air tight and provide very good levels of airtightness.

Lightweight

On average the SIP panels weighs around 18kg per m2
