Fire Performance SIP panels will meet all the requirements of building regulations with regard to fire resistance when lined with 15mm plasterboard, a single layer will provide 30 minutes rating and a double layer will provide 60 minutes rating. Durability As long as the design follows best practice and the building is maintained and weather tight, a life of at least 60 years maybe expected. Air Tightness Due to single joints every 1200mm, SIP panels are uniquely air tight and provide very good levels of airtightness.
