The Garden Spa – Building Your Own Hot Tub Enclosure

Who doesn’t love relaxing in the warm and soothing waters of their own hot tub? Hot tubs are a fantastic place to relax, and they can also ease sore muscles. If you have plenty of parties at your house, a hot tub can be a place for your guests to enjoy and socialize.

Not only is a hot tub relaxing and fun, soaking in the hot water can have many health benefits as well. It can ease stuff muscles and joints, improve blood flow and reduce stress. Also, a hot tub is a natural remedy for insomnia as the warm water causes your body to reduce internal temperatures, which means that when you get out you will drift into a deeper sleep.

If you have a hot tub on your property, one of the ways that you can make it even better is to build a hot tub enclosure around it. These types of buildings can be constructed in a number of styles, from an open gazebo type to an enclosed building.

The Right Materials
Your hot tub enclosure can be made of SIPS, which stands for structural insulated panels. This is the same type of building material that is used to make SIPS, and flat pack houses have many benefits. Structural insulated panels are easy to use, cheap, easy on the environment, and allow your hot tub enclosure to be designed and manufactured offsite, and then assembled on your property just as a flat pack house would be.

Ensuring Privacy and Protection
One of the advantages to building a hot tub enclosure is that it will allow you more privacy when using your hot tub. If you feel a bit exposed when soaking in your hot tub out in the open, this can give you a more private atmosphere. Also, once your hot tub is protected from the rain and the elements, you can feel free to bring in a radio or even a television out to your hot tub enclosure to enjoy while you are relaxing. Because your hot tub is protected from the elements, it will last a lot longer and provide you with many years of enjoyment.

Also, having your hot tub covered will stop insects and debris from landing in the water, which means that you won’t need to clean these out.

Cautions to Remember
Be aware that if you are going to build an enclosure for your hot tub, you will need to make sure that the structural insulated panel building has a ventilation system to prevent the steam from building up inside the structure and causing mould.
Now that your hut tub is protected by an enclosure, you have created the perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy.

If you have a hot tub, why not protect it by building an enclosure for it with structural insulated panels?
